Never before in all our history have these forces been so united against one candidate as they stand today. They are unanimous in their hate for me and I welcome their hatred.-FDR

Did we Just Stop the Next Great American Fascist or Just Delay Him?

The question now is not "will James O'keefe go to jail", but "for how long?" It's interesting that a man who I considered to be the next great American fascist of the conservative movement would destroy his career on something stupid like this.

To clarify about the great American fascists of the conservative movement, I'm talking about Ayn Rand, Ronald Reagan, and Rush Limbaugh. Those three people have had the greatest negative impact on this country in the past 50 years. It started with Rand who started the modern era of greed with her philosophy. In 1981, Reagan who was influenced by Rand took over and added an aspect of social conservativism to the mix. Then as Reagan started to lose it mentally and his presidency came to a close, Limbaugh took over and has reigned as the leader of the modern conservative movement.

A few weeks ago, Limbaugh had some heart problems and I think years of smoking, over eating, and drug use has taken a toll on his body and I won't be surprised if he dies in a few years. I was thinking that the next great American fascist would come from a college Republican and I thought O'keefe with his ideology and manipulation would take that position. Since the motive driven "pranks" against Planned Parenthood and ACORN, the right has viewed him as a rising star and even a bunch of Republicans wanted to honor him.

Now he's going to jail for a while and maybe some other young conservative or teabagger would take over as the next great American fascist. Or maybe O'keefe's jail sentence would be considered as an act of martyrdom and as soon as he gets out, he will be a little bit wiser and continue to push his ideology. Look at Hitler, he spent time in prison and when he got out, became more powerful than ever and had millions of followers. I'm not saying that O'keefe is the next Hitler, but we need to keep an eye on him when he leaves prison.
