Never before in all our history have these forces been so united against one candidate as they stand today. They are unanimous in their hate for me and I welcome their hatred.-FDR

The Idiocy of Doug Powers Part 4

Here's another hilarious post from Malkintented's "guest"* blogger Doug Powers.

Nancy Pelosi and Debbie Stabenow, both supporters of the right to partial birth abortion even when the life of the mother is not at stake,

First off, "partial birth" is one of those Orwellian terms the right uses, the procedure is called "intact dilation and extraction." Second, the vast majority of those procedures are for "life at stake" cases in the third trimester, so that statement doesn't make sense.

got a nod of appreciation last night from all the members of Planned Parenthood whose mothers didn’t take advantage of Planned Parenthood’s primary service.

Yeah, I'm guessing Doug thinks Planned Parenthood's primary service is abortion, it's not.

In 2007, contraception constituted 36% of total services, STI/STD testing and treatment constituted 31%, cancer testing and screening constituted 17%; other women's health procedures, including pregnancy, prenatal, midlife, and infertility were 11%, and approximately 3% of total procedures involved surgical and medical abortions.

Yeah that's some "primary service" there. One can make the argument that Planned Parenthood has done more to stop abortions than any other organization in the country because they provide contraception. Unless Doug thinks that contraception=abortion, then his point might be valid. But in reality he is full of shit.

I’ve been fully aware that Nancy Pelosi is shameless for a long time, and I realized the same about Debbie Stabenow the day the very overweight Senator dedicated herself to lowering the rate of childhood obesity (Though admittedly Stabenow’s strategy of “if I eat all the food there won’t be any left for the kids to get fat on” could make some difference).

Ha ha ha! Let's laugh at the fat bitch! Doug needs to become a comedian and start his own tv show. I hope it's more successful than other conservative shows before it.

*Has the term "guest" changed its meaning? Doug has been on Malkintented's blog for a few months, I don't think guests stay longer than a few days or a week or two. When will he be a "co-blogger?"
