Some people are desperate to turn the least important aspect of a game into something significant.

Uh, okay. And this is suppose to mean something? I wish people would just say it's symbolic and shut the fuck up, but no, people are obsessed with superstition. But this really got to me:
The game's coin traveled into space with the shuttle Atlantis in November.
Isn't that the craziest fucking thing you've ever heard?
Of course what is even dumber than the coin toss are the celebrities that show up to do the toss or worse, stand there and watch.
