Bring back our girls!
The United States has deployed 80 troops to Chad to augment efforts to find the Nigerian schoolgirls recently taken hostage, the White House announced Wednesday, a significant escalation of Washington’s contribution to a crisis that has created global consternation.
I'm not saying with 100% certainty that they will save the girls, but at least they have a chance now. The Nigerian government tried to sweep the kidnapping under the rug, but the Twitter campaign championed by good people like Michelle Obama embarrassed the Nigerian government into doing something.
Of course this is no thanks to bad conservatives like Limbaugh and Coulter who mocked the Twitter campaign and didn't offer any incite on their own. If conservatives had their way, all the girls would be doomed. Luckily, their trolling and interference didn't win.
