I know November is already half over, but I have to get something off my chest, or my face. As a man, I think this "No Shave November" or "Movember" thing is stupid. It's also sexist IMHO. After a month of guys having to see these pink ribbons everywhere for breast cancer, men are like "Hey, what about my nuts and prostate? I have an idea, let's upstage women in November and not shave!" Also, selling pink things for breast cancer month actually got money for research, what does not shaving do? It does nothing for men with cancer either. Either it's sexist or lazy, but I guess some men really feel like they are actually showing some solidarity which is fine, but just admit that it's doing nothing for fighting cancer. Some think it raises awareness for cancer which will lead to money, but in reality it's just dudes not shaving and raising money can be done despite "Movember." By the end of the month, it will be just something to get Thanksgiving gravy on. If you already have a beard of moustache, fine keep it on. But if you are just growing it for "Movember", shave it off, it's dumb.
