Never before in all our history have these forces been so united against one candidate as they stand today. They are unanimous in their hate for me and I welcome their hatred.-FDR

"Liberal Hate"

Sometimes after paragraphs of lies and half-truths, a conservative tells the truth.

That exemplifies left-wing idealism — imagining a utopian future. There will be no poor, no war, no conflict, no inequality. That future is only a few more government programs away from reality. And who stands in the way of such perfection? Conservatives. How could a utopian not hate a conservative?

I understand Prager thinks he's being sarcastic here, but sometimes in jest the truth comes out. This is why I am a liberal and hate conservatism, I hope for a better tomorrow. Of course there will never be a total utopia, but we should work towards that goal and damn anyone who stands in the way.

When it Rains, it Pours

Another example of oil fucking our environment.

Federal officials now estimate that more than 1 million gallons of oil may have spilled into a major river in southern Michigan, and the governor is sharply criticizing clean-up efforts as "wholly inadequate."

As long as we depend on oil, crap like this will happen. We need to switch to wind and solar.

Gibson and Tiffany Talk About the New Face of Banality and Mediocrity

I've joked before that Miley is the result of not kicking mediocre singers in the nuts. Two ghosts from the 80's talk about her and I find it funny. In the pop world, mediocrity and banality are praised.

Here's Bill Hicks on this.

I'm not so much against the concept of malls, it's just the mall culture I don't like. I spend like 75% of the time in Spencers Gifts, that's the kind of shopper I am.

Justice Does Not Exist

Headlines like this show there is little hope for justice in the world.

Hayward's 'Golden Parachute' Is Relatively Modest

The details of his "modest" parachute:

If he leaves the company, he stands to walk away with a compensation package that includes about $1.5 million in salary and a pension worth $17 million. That will seem like an unforgivable sum to many people. But as "golden parachutes" go, his deal is actually quite modest.

The phrase "go to jail, don't pass go, don't collect 200 dollars" comes to mind. I guess in the corporate world, punishment is not getting as much money as you should have gotten. This is really fucked up, how did we get to this?*

*Rhetorical question, I know the answer to that question: conservatism brainwashing society into thinking that this is "moral."

92 Republicans Want Native Americans to get Raped

There's no way else to say it, but when 92 out of 170 (more than half) vote against a bill to help prevent rape against Native American women, you have to come to that conclusion.

Saturday Hicks

Bullies of the World

Idiot of the Week

Glenn Beck

While normally I would be concerned with someone's health, but Beck is one of those exceptions. Beck has shown a lack of empathy for humanity and I feel this sense of schadenfreude at Beck. The dude has bad Karma and disgracing the name of Martin Luther King next month is just part of it. I feel the same way about Rush Limbaugh losing his hearing from overuse of Oxy, if he was just a random drug user, I would feel sorry for him. Although I wish both Rush and Glenn would go mute so they would shut the fuck up.
